SURPASSING THE MALDIVES AND BALI, VIETNAM'S ISLAND EARNS A SPOT ON 'THE WORLD'S MOST BEAUTIFUL LIST 2025'
23/12/2025
(Financial Market) – Surpassing a long list of iconic island destinations long regarded as the world’s ultimate beach paradises, this island has risen to third place globally, ranking just behind two legendary islands of the United States.
Recently, the prestigious American travel magazine Condé Nast Traveler unveiled its annual ranking, “The Best Islands in the World 2025.” Phu Quoc proudly stands as Vietnam’s sole representative in the global Top 3, marking a remarkable milestone on the world tourism map.
With an impressive score of 95.51, Phu Quoc not only claimed the top position in Asia but also secured third place worldwide, trailing only the renowned U.S. islands of Kiawah and Hilton Head.
Notably, Phu Quoc outperformed a series of globally celebrated island destinations such as the Maldives, Maui (Hawaii), Bali, and Phuket—names long synonymous with luxury beach escapes in the eyes of international travelers.
This is the first time Vietnam’s “Pearl Island” has achieved such a high ranking, marking a historic milestone for the nation’s tourism industry.
